Logistics and Servicing & maintenance Officer at Kaltani in Abia

Position Overview

The Logistics and Servicing & maintenance Officer is accountable for managing the transportation, storage, and allocation of waste produced, in addition to making sure that organisation facilities, tools, and vehicles are properly preserved and operational.

Primary duties

• Strategy and organize logistics for enumeration initiatives, strategy initiatives for waste collection route.
• Track and track vehicle / truck usage and fuel usage.
• Preserve stock of logistics and servicing & maintenance inventory.
• Supervise standard procedure servicing & maintenance and repairs of organisation tools, vehicles, and facilities.
• Guarantee adherence with safety and business standardized processes at dump sites.
• Preserve precise records of servicing & maintenance initiatives, expenses, and plans.
• Coordinate with vendors and service vendors for repairs, servicing, or spare parts.
• Carry out consistent inspections to recognize and handle servicing & maintenance needs for trucks.
• Assist warehouse and store processes where necessary.

Qualifications

• At least Higher national diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Business Administrator, or relevant field.
• 2 – 3 years’ expertise in logistics, fleet management, or servicing & maintenance positions.
• Good expertise in tools and vehicle servicing & maintenance standardized processes.
• Robust corporate and handling multiple responsibilities competencies.
• Competence in Office productivity software (Excel, Word).
• Capability to operate independently and manage crisis conditions productively.
