Position Overview

We are looking for a very driven and meticulous Software QA Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will be in charge of executing comprehensive operational, regression, and effectiveness running test across all environments to guarantee the reliability, stability, and user efficiency of our software goods. You will collaborate with development, product, and processes teams to recognize, record, and settle quality concerns throughout the software lifecycle.

Primary duties:

• Design, formulate, and implement complete test strategies and test scenarios for current and prospective capabilities.
• Execute comprehensive operational running test to guarantee all system parts work together as anticipated.
• Carry out regression running test to confirm that recent code modifications possess not adversely affected current functionalities.
• Carry out effectiveness and load running test to assess software responsiveness, stability, and scalability under changing task volumes.
• Evaluate test outcomes, recognize faults, and collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to diagnose issues and settle concerns.
• Ensure regular running test across all environments: development, staging, and generation.
• Preserve thorough and well-organized recordkeeping of test scenarios, test implementation data records, and defect documentation.
• Engage in Nimble/Scrum ceremonies which includes routine standups, sprint organizing, and retrospectives.
• Support to uninterrupted process enhancements in the Quality assurance operation by recognizing differences and proposing initiatives.

Credentials

• Bsc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Demonstrated expertise (2–5 years) as a Quality assurance Engineer or in a similar software running test position.
• Solid understanding of Quality assurance structured approaches, resources, and methods.
• Expertise with automated and documented guide running test frameworks.
• Understanding with resources which includes JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, or JMeter.
• Capability to compose clear, brief, and complete test recordkeeping.
• Robust logical and analytical abilities.
• Clear articulation and partnership competencies.
• Comprehension of SDLC phases (SDLC), especially Nimble structured approaches.

Preferred Credentials:

• Expertise with CI/CD resources (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Expertise in API running test, SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Understanding with cloud channels which includes AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• ISTQB or equivalent Quality assurance accreditation will be an added advantage.
• Must Live in Lagos and capable to travel to operate site
