Job Description

Preserve and modify setup items (CIs) in the CMDB, making sure precision, thoroughness, and traceability.
Establish and ensure adherence to CI connections, traits, and lifecycle states.
Work alongside service owners and structure teams to confirm and resolve setup data.
Oversee setup and consolidation of third-party software and solutions across environments.
Ensure third-party settings match with internal guidelines and guard rules.
Track and record dependencies, permits, and assist agreements for third-party goods.
Ensure setup procedures adhere with ITIL, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and other applicable guidelines.
Assist within and outside the organization audits by offering approved setup data and recordkeeping.
Track setup drift and execute corrective actions.
Use resources like ServiceNow CMDB, BMC Solution, or similar channels for setup management.
Automate setup exploratory phase and status reports using scripts or consolidation resources (e.g., Ansible, Python, REST APIs).
Combine CMDB with resource control, adjustment management, and supervising operational structures.
Collaborate with IT processes, Development-operations, guard, and vendor management teams.
Offer assistance for system issue and issue management by supplying precise setup data.
Engage in adjustment consultative boards (CABs) and risk evaluations.

4+ years of expertise in setup management, structure engineering, or IT processes.
Robust expertise with CMDB channels (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Solution).
Understanding with third-party software development lifecycle and vendor management.
Competence in scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and automatic control resources (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
Understanding with ITIL structure and service management principles.
Robust logical and issue resolution abilities with meticulousness and precision.
Clear articulation and partnership competencies.
Capability to operate in a dynamic, high-adherence environment.
Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated, and capable to motivate a dynamic team.
Expertise operating across multifaceted cultures and geographies; Pan-African diverse expertise is advantageous.
