Position Overview

We areseeking a highly proficient and skilled Mechanical support technician with expert, practical experience in the process and servicing & maintenance of Jenbacher Gas Gensets. The successful applicant will be in charge of making sure the most effective effectiveness, reliability, and effectiveness of our gas engine power production plant in Ondo State. This is a full-time, in-field role. The organization will offer accommodation.

Primary duties

• Carry out standard procedure preventive and corrective servicing & maintenance on Jenbacher gas engines and connected tools in line with OEM strategic guidance and industry standards.
• Operate and track gas gensets to guarantee safe and productive parameters are preserved for a uninterrupted power stock.
• Execute complete diagnostics, diagnose issues mechanical and electrical faults, and settle concerns promptly to reduce non-operational time.
• Finalize minor and key repairs, and engage in engine overhauls as necessary.
• Read and analyze system manuals, wiring diagrams, and engine documented guides to assist in servicing & maintenance and fix.
• Preserve precise and thorough data records of all servicing & maintenance initiatives, repairs, and engine key indicators.
• Preserve an precise stock of spare parts and resources, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Ensure full adherence with all Ecological, Health, and Safety (Environmental health and safety) rules and standardized processes.
• Work alongside productively with other technical teams and plant employees to assist entire power plant processes.
• Address crises and work in rotational changes as necessary.

Credentials and Expertise

• At least OND, Higher national diploma, or Trade Test accreditation in Mechanical or Power Engineering.
• Comprehensive, practical experience in the process, servicing & maintenance, and diagnosing issues of Jenbacher Gas Gensets.
• At least three years of expertise in a similar position within a power production or industrial setting.
• Solid understanding of gas engine mechanics, regulate operational structures, and ancillary tools.
