Project Explanation
Northeast Nigeria is at present facing an expanding humanitarian crisis with a vast number of Internally Displaced Persons in need of crisis support. These IDPs are living among organizer networks, lacking entry to livelihoods and assets, ultimately top to unprecedented levels of malnutrition and food insecurity. In expectation of a new project, and in assist of ongoing ones, FHI360 looks for an skilled Support Technical specialist, M&E to assist our response to the humanitarian crisis in NE Nigeria.
Basic Operation
The Support Technical specialist-Monitoring and evaluation will help in supervising and analyzing programme initiatives at the allocated site on-site. Main duties comprise of collecting information on project initiatives in each sector for proper recordkeeping and status updates of initiatives.
Obligations and Duties
- Help the Technical specialist-Monitoring and evaluation in accurate execution and use of M&E resources, and compliance to finalize and prompt status updates.
- Carry out standard procedure supervising visits to site sites, which includes collecting data on programme initiatives.
- Bring to the expertise in the Technical specialist questions that need to be solved which includes variations or missing data by the originators of the acquire data.
- Preserve good quality data, which includes periodically executing data accuracy evaluations (DQAs) using authorized resources.
- Help in the project setup of on a weekly basis and every month documentation and offer helpful oversight.
- Assist execution of the project’s responsibility plan, which includes Service issues and Response Mechanisms.
- Offer monitoring, oversight and capacity development for Monitoring and evaluation Data clerks.
- Remain abreast on ongoing Monitoring and evaluation progress updates in addition to emerging concerns in the zone of intervention.
- Carry out him/herself competently respecting company rules and standardized processes, code of carry out and ethics, and project status updates and information exchange channels.
- Preserve proper recordkeeping of Monitoring and evaluation records making sure safe storage for easy retrieval.
- Collaborate with IT assistance teams to collect suitable baseline and endline data.
- Preserve Monitoring and evaluation assets as needed.
- In charge of records entry of programme data.
- Execute other obligations as allocated.
