Profile

The Worldwide Polio Eradication Plan (GPEI) is dedicated to making sure that future generations of children are free from the threat of polio paralysis. Delivering this objective requires rapid and efficient outbreak response, especially in polio-free countries. The Health and HIV section of the UNICEF Nigeria Country workspace delivers monitoring, QA, technical support, and expertise management in the site of Health and HIV with a concentration on immunization (which includes polio), maternal newborn health and health operational structures strengthening. In partnership with SBC and Information exchange and Support sections, it aids information exchange for community-related and conduct adjustment interventions for Polio, Immunization and health interventions.

Job task Overview:

  • Polio SBC Synchronization -NEOC
  • Output/Result: Execution documentation
  • Polio SBC synchronization – UNICEF CO, FOs 
  • Output/Result: Purpose documentation with strategic guidance
  • Formative study on vaccine hesitancy 
  • Output/Result: Every month advancement documentation + conclusive document 
  • Polio marketing financial plan and activity evaluate and skills development 
  • Output/Result: Conceptualize financial plan 

At least Qualifications

Postgraduate degree in Community-related and Conductual Adjustment Information exchange, Community health, or other community-related/conductual sciences or public health zone (Hygiene promotion, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Health Education, bio-medical sciences, community health) or associated area At least eight years progressively in charge work expertise in public or public health and Community-related and Conductual Adjustment Information exchange, the organizing and management of community-related information exchange program, which includes in immunization/polio. Profile in community health and robust leadership abilities would be highly assessed. Competencies: Expertise in ongoing progress updates in the fields of information exchange theory, inspirational psychology, adult learning theory, indigenous media, digital information exchange, group company and involvement, strategic information exchange organizing, conduct evaluation, formative analysis and assessment of information exchange interventions
