This role serves as a organisation technical and managerial delegate, resident engineer and agreements with client support task which includes in-field preventive servicing & maintenance and assessment service work, call-out solutions and initiating initiatives on centrifugal gas compressors goods line and bundles.

• Ensure alignment with the employment authorization system.
• Ensure safe on-site and procedures.
• Engage by participating general safety and toolbox safety sessions.
• Suggest safety enhancements.
• Must be capable to identify abnormal sounds vibrations and possibility safety challenges at inception and take suitable action to prevent a serious safety hazard that could formulate to tools loss or loss of generation.
• Deliver promptly and routine documentation to the applicable manager on- going projects or routine work. Stay forward of pending work and staff necessary to finalize the projects.
• Make sure that vital parts are accessible and send materials requisitions when necessary.
• Adequate plan of compelling processes in releasing tools without delay for servicing & maintenance.
• Will be, necessary to help in a technical manner with the processes and servicing & maintenance crew in any zone if the task volume exceeds the number of staff accessible.
• Will submit application good judgment when evaluating challenges. Address challenges with little or no oversight without delay and at a nominal cost. Master all standardized processes and accessible options of recognizing suppliers of information and technical guidance. Will possess enough service understanding to fix and modify minor mechanical/electrical parts/operational structures and will be competent of reading relevant drawings and technical documented guides.
• Oversee servicing & maintenance solutions or installation assist to guarantee they are carried out within organisation regulatory framework, manufacturers’ strategic guidance and in a safe manner.
• Ensure key interventions are organized, finished on time and within business-related orders.

What You Bring

• Will possess served on identified centrifugal compressors product line and/or ideally possessing long period of uninterrupted profession on Dresser Rand Datum compressors as mechanical engineering specialist.
• Will have a technical certification e.g. Engineering Academic qualification, ideally in Mechanical Engineering.
• With 10-years operating expertise in a connected sector. Higher expertise/ability levels may balance lower academic credentials, and vice versa.
• Expertise in an onshore/remote marine operations environment.
• Robust rotating tools profile will be an asset.
• Understanding with gas compression theory, bundles operational structures and process will be an asset.
• Will hold and preserve a full remote marine operations medical and survival certification to match all zones of task.
