Store officer / Logistics coordinator at Mediflex Industries PVT Limited in Idu Industrial Area, Abuja

Role summary

We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Store officer / Logistics coordinator to supervise stock, store processes, logistics initiatives, and fleet management. The preferred candidate will ensure precise document-keepingand productive use of vehicles to assist smooth organizational processes.

Logistics Management:

• Strategy and organize transportation of goods to and from the store.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and transporters for prompt supplies.
• Track shipments and modify applicable teams on dispatch timelines.
• Enhance logistics routes to reduce expenses and ensure effectiveness.
• Guarantee adherence with organisation rules on transport usage.

Fleet Management:

• Oversee the organization’s fleet of vehicles, making sure accessibility for processes.
• Timetable consistent servicing, repairs, and preventive servicing & maintenance of vehicles.
• Keep precise records of vehicle documents which includes coverage, permits, and roadworthiness.
• Track fuel usage and ensure responsibility.
• Allocate drivers and track vehicle movement to guarantee safety and effectiveness.
• Offer consistent documentation on fleet effectiveness, expenses, and utilization.

Other Obligations:

• Assist procurement team with material qualifications and supplier client engagement.
• Educate and oversee store and logistics assistants where necessary.
• Execute any other obligations allocated under leadership.

Preferred Competencies:

• Expertise in Enterprise platform planning or fleet management software.
• Understanding with safety, transport, and quality rules.
• Capability to head and oversee drivers and assistants.
• Analytical abilities with a initiative-driven mindset.
