Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning Support at Save the Children Nigeria in Kaduna

Position Objective

• The Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning Support in Kaduna will assist the establishing and coordinating a strong M&E, Responsibility, and Learning (Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning) system for the project in their site.
• Important functions for the role comprise of designing and executing a Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning system in accordance with Save the Children International (SCI) guidelines. 
• The role occupant will assist reviews/evaluations, track programme advancement and quality, record lessons learnt, and support to periodic supervising and status updates.
• Making sure gender-sensitive, welcoming, and participatory Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning methods, which includes children's participation, is critical.   

Responsibility:

• Ensure the project is executing the 3 pillars of Responsibility - Information exchanging, involvement and response & status updates and offering applicable recordkeeping.
• Help in establishing strong responsibility mechanisms, making sure the voices of project participants are assessed in project adjustment/design and execution.
• Carry out periodic group response and participant sessions to collect input, response, and findings on the programme, optimizing public involvement, and supporting transparency and responsibility.

Safeguarding:

Ensure risk evaluations are done before any data collection that includes children. Ensure enumerators are prepared on before any data collection.

General:

Adhere with SCI rules and practice regarding child protection, code of carry out, workplace safety and wellness, fair access and other applicable rules and standardized processes. Perform any other duty inside the Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning operation as the direct supervisor requires, adjusting to project needs and hurdles. 

Credentials

At least Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in educational studies, Demography, Statistics, Information Tech, Computer Science, or any associated courses.
