Role summary

  • The Guard Support will be in charge of getting ready all needed documents and documentation on routine, on a weekly basis, every month basis.
  • In addition, this role will be the in charge of all management work for the Guard Department.
  • At all times, the Support must answer to the line managers in the base and to the CSM and to OPS Consultant all matters regarding the Guard of Employees (Expats and National) and assets.
  • To execute this position successfully, an individual must be capable to execute each crucial operation with or without rational accommodation.

Main Assignment and Duties

  • Collects all IMC programme necessary docs to be provided on SCMCHA system and getting the pass approvals which includes routine employees site visit, development/workshop, shipment, and commute licenses.
  • Undertakes any guard – associated obligations allocated by direct manager.
  • Doing all management work connected with Guard and do the archiving of all Guard recordkeeping of IMC.
  • Supervises and ensures all the movements of employees to be safe and cleared by SCMCHA and Interior Ministry Process – Guest accommodation.
  • Documentation any system issue at once if occurred and compose it through the system issue management documentation system.
  • Manages and instructs team members (Security officers and Drivers) and ensure adherence to the Standard Operating Standardized processes from the company.
  • To be in charge of managing guard tools which includes main workspace, warehouse cameras, guard workspace assets. 
  • Takes and stock of the allocated guard tools and ensures the devices are accounted for.
  • Documentation and observes the routine initiatives, arranges the plans, drafts documentation (routine, on a weekly basis, every month), and sends emails.
  • Sustains safe custody of private storage devices; in case of loss, vandalism, sabotage, theft, or malfunction of any guard devices, he documentation the matter to the CSM and IMC procurement/IT employees.
  • Takes an active position during the formation and execution of evacuation/crisis guard strategies with the Country Guard Manager.
  • After status updates to his superior, and when a protection flaw falls outside the jurisdiction of the company, the Support should be capable to documentation the matter to the suitable governing bodies.
  • Sustains Order during crisis conditions which includes fires and directs people to exit points.
  • Be capable to commute to districts allocated by the manager.
  • Must do any associated duty questioned by the manager when needed.
  • Be capable to proceed some guard drills. 
  • Assist in investigative and documentation guard breaches / incidents inside the company mandates to the Country Guard Manager, while making sure rigid secrecy.
  • Observes the agreed security officers and ensures those posts are always manned.
  • Team up with the CSM carry out physical guard survey of workspaces, fields, guard procedures, vehicle, and employees residences to guarantee adherence to At least Operating Guard Standard (MOSS) and At least Operating Residential Guard Guidelines (MORSS).
  • Linking with government departments and any other workspaces as necessary by the Guard Department.

Role expectations

  • Ideally, a Bsc or equivalent integration of education and expertise may be substituted as suitable.
  • 3-4 Years previous expertise operating for NGO's is recommended. 
  • Must work with little to no supervision under difficult terms and limited oversight. 
  • Capability to operate under stress. 
  • Responsibility is essential to formulate and accomplish initiatives.   
  • Timeliness
  • Effective communication competencies. 
  • English and Arabic language: should be upgraded to be very good speaking and drafting. 
  • Computer competencies: good acknowledgement of Office productivity software. 
  • Must be capable to solve practical challenges quickly and productively when the need arises. 
  • Capable to compose documentation in English and Local Language.
