Role Overview

• To assist our fast growth, we’re seeking an exceptional Regional Service Engineer (RSE) to oversee a team of Site Service Engineers (FSE) in addition to our technical processes at the regional level.
• As an RSE, your concentration will be on preserving strong technical operational structures to assurance uninterrupted power at sites and most effective energy uptime at our hubs. This position requires significant commute within Nigeria, as Jaza is expanding and building hubs across the South-West states, with 21 hubs at present located in Oyo State.
• This role entails leading site service engineers in making sure energy uptime, optimizing system effectiveness, diagnosing issues, and repairing system problems. Additionally, the position includes actively supporting to ongoing development through thorough data evaluation, status updates, and cooperative endeavors.
• The preferred candidate is someone with a robust technical/engineering executive guidance profile, competent of top and directing a agile team and operating in a dynamic environment.
• Supervise the FSEs in carrying out the setup of new hubs, making sure smooth network access, and carrying out consistent servicing & maintenance on hub energy operational structures.
• This position includes status updates straight to the Technical Manager to guarantee productive synchronization and compliance to technical procedures.
• Head and mentor FSEs on the industry standards through consistent development and career advancement programs.
• Routinely evaluate documentation provided by the FSEs, on hub energy effectiveness and other system problems.
• Collate every month documentation and distribute them with the executive team
• Work alongside Jaza Stars, Regional Planners (RCs), Network Processes Centre (network operations center) data team and FSEs to diagnose and settle technical hurdles.
• Organize and distribute every month employee evaluation documentation on Power accessibility.

Credentials

• Robust proven competence in and a strong insight of energy and solar operational structures. We are not particular about any teaching profile and are more worried with how much practical experience you possess.
• At least 6 years of technical/engineering executive guidance expertise inside the telecommunications/energy industry or other associated industries.
• Robust logical and analytical abilities with the capability to recognize and execute initiatives to sophisticated technical hurdles.
• Robust dedication to safety and adherence with Health, safety, and environment guidelines.
• Competence with data evaluation resources and status updates software which includes MS Workspace suite.
• Capability to operate independently and productively within a collaborative environment.
