Role summary
- We are looking for a highly proficient Workshop Engineer to join our team, specializing in the servicing & maintenance, fix, and overhaul of building tools, which includes Caterpillar, trucks, and other heavy-responsibility machinery.
- The successful applicant will be in charge of making sure that all tools is functioning productively, safely, and productively.
- The preferred candidate will possess a deep knowledge of building tools, which includes Caterpillar, trucks, and other heavy-responsibility machinery, in addition to expertise operating in a workshop environment.
- Understanding with building industry procedures and guidelines will be a plus.
Duties
- Execute standard procedure servicing & maintenance, diagnosing issues, and fix of building tools, which includes Caterpillar, trucks, and other heavy-responsibility machinery.
- Carry out inspections, diagnose challenges, and execute repairs to guarantee tools is functioning correctly.
- Formulate and execute preventive servicing & maintenance plans to reduce non-operational time and extend tools lifespan.
- Carry out consistent inspections and servicing & maintenance duty to prevent tools defeats.
- Overhaul and refurbish building tools, which includes engines, transmissions, and hydraulic operational structures.
- Make sure that all work meets quality and safety guidelines.
- Diagnose issues sophisticated system problems with building tools and formulate efficient initiatives.
- Work alongside other teams to settle tools-associated concerns and enhance entire effectiveness.
- Make sure that all work is carried out in accordance with safety rules, organisation rules, and industry guidelines.
- Carry out safety inspections and risk evaluations to recognize promise risks and execute corrective actions.
- Make sure that all repairs and servicing & maintenance work meets quality benchmarks and is thoroughly tested before tools is returned to service.
- Preserve precise records of servicing & maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Collaborate with other teams, which includes processes and servicing & maintenance, to guarantee that tools is accessible and functioning correctly.
- Convey productively with teammates, supervisors, and clients regarding tools status, concerns, and repairs.
Qualifications
- Bsc in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or relevant field.
- 10 years demonstrated expertise in preserving and repairing building tools, which includes Caterpillar, trucks, and other heavy-responsibility machinery.
- Solid understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical operational structures used in building tools.
- Outstanding issue resolution, logical, and verbal abilities.
- Capability to operate productively in a dynamic environment and assign priorities to tasks to deliver on time.
- Expertise with workshop management software and servicing & maintenance management operational structures.
- Expertise in industry-specific safety compliance guidelines.
