Role summary

We are looking for an skilled and meticulous Accounting officer to oversee, evaluate, and supervise financial financial record, status updates, and adherence. The preferred candidate will possess solid understanding of accounting principles, outstanding critical thinking, and demonstrated expertise in managing the financial health of a business.

Primary duties

• Organize, examine, and evaluate balance sheet and income statement, documentation, and records to guarantee precision and adherence with rules.
• Oversee outstanding bills and receivable methods, making sure prompt payments and collections.
• Supervise general ledger initiatives, adjustments, and transaction entries.
• Manage financial planning, predicting, and budgeting to assist business decisions.
• Carry out internal audits and guarantee adherence with tax rules and statutory status updates qualifications.
• Track money movement, banking processes, and financial funding initiatives.
• Organize wage processing and ensure statutory conclusions are remitted precisely.
• Assist management with financial findings, cost evaluation, and profit margin documentation.
• Work alongside external auditors, tax advisors, and compliance-related governing bodies.
• Execute and preserve internal regulates to ensure protection of organisation assets.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have a Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
• A member of a professional body which includes ACA, ACCA, or CPA is desirable.
• At least 4-5 years of proven accounting expertise in a corporate or financial environment.
• Solid understanding of accounting guidelines, tax legal provisions, and financial rules.
• Competence in financial system (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, or Tally) and MS Excel.
• Outstanding logical, issue resolution, and planning abilities.
• High meticulousness, honesty and reliability, and secrecy.
