Position Overview

Operating with the Farm operations manager to supervise and oversee crop generation, soil science, and agriculture-based procedures for a multifaceted range of crops, which includes tropical Plantain, Palm Trees, Cucumber, Greenhouse Bell Pepper, Tomatoes, Sweet Corn, and others. Design and organize a Strategic regulatory framework for the crop.

Primary duties

Draw out a financial plan for the farms for the year and offer a organizing concentration for each year.

Crop Management: 

Ensure most effective crop returns, quality, and market preparedness. Formulate customised crop management strategies for farmers, which includes planting dates, supervising crop health, irrigation plans, weed regulate methods, and harvest timing.

Crop Endorsement:

Advise farmers on appropriate crop types based on local climate, soil terms, market requirement, and possibility disease resistance.

Soil Science:

• Carry out soil tests, evaluate outcomes, and endorse amendments.
• Formulate and execute soil conservation and fertility management strategies.
• Preserve soil health through maintainable procedures.

Soil Evaluation Analysis:

Evaluate soil test outcomes to recognize nutrient deficiencies and endorse suitable fertilization plans.

Development and Extension:

Deliver session workshops and site exhibitions for employees on upgraded agriculture-based procedures, which includes proper seed selection, pest management, and harvest methods.

R & D:

• Engage in analysis field experiments to assess new crop types, fertilizers, and pest management plans.
• Track crop returns, quality, and financial effectiveness.
• Organize documentation on crop health, soil terms and agriculture-based initiatives.
• Interpret data to guide strategic judgment.

Agriculture-based Procedures:

• Execute industry standards for irrigation, water flow systems, and water management.
• Supervise fertilizer application, crop rotation, and intercropping.
• Guarantee adherence with compliance guidelines and industry qualifications.
