Position Overview

  • The Non-Tenured Trainer (NTI) duties comprise of, but not limited to, conceptualizing course material and curricula, uplifting meaningful discussions, advising with management, other academics and experts, directing learners, grading tasks, growing programs and being an active member of the company.
  • The NTI MUST be readied to operate long hours, commute, and expand the company’s networks.
  • To be successful as a Non-Tenured Trainer (NTI), applicant must show superior capability to submit application competencies for listening and information exchange, capability to motivate students with enthusiasm/eagerness for training, learner guidance, learning, expertise purchase, competencies development and practical applications of expertise & competencies.
  • The LiKIST NTI must be an education progressive, an creative thoughts individual that embraces use of creative training and interactive/cooperative methods to assure learning and practical competencies development.

Non-Exhaustive NTI Duties

  • Getting ready and supplying lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars including courses across a number of theoretical and practical modalities in the technical site and possibly electives in other zones.
  • Conceptualizing curricula and course material that can be used across a number of channels.Partnering with other academics and lecturers to enhance training methods and expand expertise base.
  • Setting and grading tasks, quizzes, tests, and exams.
  • Carrying out analysis, and drafting papers, proposals, transaction entry articles, and records.
  • Participating and engaging in sessions, professional forums, and other events in and outside of the institution.
  • Engaging in development avenues and programs at the institution.
  • Offering assist to students and other teammates.
  • Staying ongoing by reading widely and generating released work in the site.
  • Enforcing rigid honesty and reliability and discipline inside the LiKIST environments.

Candidate screening:

Selected candidates shall be interviewed remotely on a one-on-one basis or by a panel of interviewees at a selected date/time. Selected candidates shall be questioned to compose a clear and brief essay on “State of education, students’ mindset towards learning, expertise/competencies purchase and applications in Nigeria” and to supply a PowerPoint visual communication on the essay to an interview panel. Applicants’ selection shall be 20% based upon substance and quality of their documented essay and spoken communication visual communication of the essay.Do not send letters of endorsement from letters of recommendation; if selected for an interview, LiKIST shall request for the letters of endorsement after reaching decision on selection of applicants to interview.
