Position Overview

The Construction engineer (Structural) will be in charge of directing and managing all structural engineering works for the Ibom International Hospital project. The position ensures ≥95% of structural initiatives are fulfilled on timetable, 100% adherence with design requirements and structural codes, and ≥90% closure of on-site-associated structural concerns promptly, while preserving rigid quality and Health, safety, and environment guidelines.

Primary duties

• Oversee structural building initiatives, making sure ≥95% compliance to authorized work plans, drawings, and methods.
• Evaluate and confirm structural designs, shop drawings, and reinforcement outlining, delivering 100% adherence with building codes, seismic, and hospital structural guidelines.
• Track vendor and external vendor effectiveness, making sure ≥90% of recognized structural faults or non-conformities are corrected within accepted timelines.
• Organize with Quality assurance/Quality control teams to attain ≥95% acceptance of structural inspections on first entry.
• Ensure adherence to structural safety qualifications, supporting to zero structural defeats below industry benchmark.
• Organize routine, on a weekly basis, and every month on-site advancement documentation with 100% precision and timeliness.
• Assist solution of structural design or building concerns in-field, making sure ≥90% of clashes settled before affecting timetable.
