CCR Engineer at African Industries Group (AIG) in Gujeni, Kaduna

Position Overview

We are looking for a proficient and initiative-driven CCR Engineer to supervise the process of our beneficiation plant from the Central Regulate Guest accommodation. The preferred candidate will ensure safe, productive, and uninterrupted plant effectiveness, supporting to generation targets and quality benchmarks.

Primary duties

• Track and regulate plant processes using DCS/SCADA operational structures.
• Modify process parameters to enhance throughput and product standard.
• Organize with site operators during begin-up, shutdown, and crisis standardized processes.
• Take action promptly to alarms, faults, and deviations in process terms.
• Preserve precise change data records and generation documentation.
• Work alongside servicing & maintenance and instrumentation teams during breakdowns.
• Assist diagnosing issues and start corrective actions.
• Guarantee adherence with safety, ecological, and ISO guidelines.
• Educate and train newly employed CCR operators.
• Report to higher support tier key disruptions to supervisors and management.

Credentials & Competencies

• Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or Higher national diploma in Chemical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, or relevant field.
• 3–5 years of expertise in regulate guest accommodation processes within a beneficiation or cement plant.
• Competence in DCS/SCADA/HMI channels.
• Deep knowledge of crushing, grinding, classification, flotation, and filtration methods.
• Outstanding logical and verbal abilities.
• Capability to operate under pressure and in rotating changes.
