Position Overview

We are at present looking for a detail-oriented and meticulous individual to join our team as an Junior accountant at our facility in Awka, Anambra State. The Junior accountant will be in charge of helping the Accounting officer with all financial associated duty to guarantee effectiveness in our processes.

Primary duties

• Help in analyzing and evaluating organisation expenditures to guarantee precision and adherence with budgetary standard procedures.
• Preserve precise records of receipts and bills of all organisation expenditures.
• Documentation any document of discrepancies to the accounting officer.
• Help in getting ready cost summaries for management evaluate.
• Organize with the logistics and warehouse team for necessary records and information verification.
• Oversee financial components of procurement, which includes buy orders, vendor payments, and expense monitoring.
• Preserve precise records of all procurement financial record and modify the financial platform as appropriate.
• Help in coordinating outstanding bills.
• Help in getting ready and processing wage processing by checking employee time records, conclusions, and perks, for prompt payment of all employees.
• Guarantee adherence with wage processing rules.
• Help in financial planning and predicting.
• Assist within and outside the organization audits.
• Execute other financial duty as allocated.
• Entering financial information into organisation software programs.

Competencies and Credentials

• At least Higher national diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
• Basic comprehension of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Competence in and Excel spreadsheet software.
• Robust critical thinking and meticulousness.
• Outstanding corporate and schedule control competencies.
• Effective communication, people skills, and high level of honesty and reliability and competence.
• Capability to operate independently and in a collaborative environment.
• Capability to operate in a dynamic production operations environment.
• Specialist qualifications which includes ICAN, CB, CPA or other applicable qualifications is a plus.
