Sales officer - Building Materials & Consumables at Ascentech Services Limited in Lagos

About the Position

We are looking for a agile and outcomes-driven Entry-level Sales officer to join our Business promotion / sales team. The preferred candidate will possess demonstrated expertise in closing sales building materials and consumables, with solid understanding of nuts, bolts, PVC pipe fittings, and associated goods. Applicants with prior expertise in Panar, Geepee, or Sacvin will be provided preference.

Primary duties

• Lead sales of building materials and consumables (nuts, bolts, PVC pipe fittings, etc.) to attain income targets.
• Recognize and pursue new commercial opportunities, expanding clientele within Lagos and surrounding zones.
• Build and preserve solid connections with distributors, retailers, service providers, and wholesalers.
• Organize and supply sales demonstrations, proposals, and quotations.
• Track rivals’ initiatives and industry trends to modify plans.
• Deliver promptly documentation on sales effectiveness, market response, and client findings.
• Work alongside the business development team to attain collective business targets.

Credentials & Qualifications

• Bsc or Higher national diploma in Business, Promotion, Engineering, or relevant field.
• Proven sales expertise in building materials/consumables industry (compulsory).
• Practical experience closing sales nuts, bolts, PVC pipe fittings (essential).
• Previous expertise with Panar, Geepee, Sacvin, or similar companies is highly preferred.
• Robust bargain, information exchange, and people skills.
• Capability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
• Self-driven, results-focused, and resilient under pressure.
