Entry-level Instrumentation Engineer at Dangote Industries Limited in Ibese Plant, Ogun

Position Overview

• We are looking for a skilled and skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will be in charge of executing preventive, corrective, diagnosing issues, shutdown, key, and minor servicing & maintenance initiatives on various types of instrumentation tools.
• Using CAD software, produce schematics, diagrams, and layouts for regulate operational structures.
• Using applications like PLC programming, DCS programming, or SCADA operational structures, formulate and put into practice regulate strategies.
• Make sure that instrumentation and regulate operational structures are designed and installed in adherence with relevant codes, guidelines, and rules.
• Offer technical direction and assist to other team members.
• Keep abreast on new progress updates in the site of instrumentation and regulate operational structures in addition to industry trends.

Primary duties

• Executing preventive and system failure servicing & maintenance of instrumentation tools as per SAP.
• Organizing and coordinating spares for instrumentation tools.
• Making sure zero system failure and zero tripping of instrumentation tools through premium quality servicing & maintenance and compliance to instrumentation operational structures.
• Following directions from superiors and adhering possessing applicable norms and guidelines.
• Upholding NIS, ISO 14001-2015, NIS, ISO 9001-2015, NIS, OHSMS-45001-2018 norms and guidelines.
• Executing any other obligations as allocated by the Section Chief.

Qualifications

Bsc or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a associated discipline. 1-3 years of applicable work background in an industrial setting - ideally cement.
