Position Overview

• To offer adequate servicing & maintenance assist to the sections processes to reduce non-operational time
• To reduce non-operational time of tools through adequate preventive servicing & maintenance
• To guarantee steady and most effective accessibility of tools to meet set targets

Role summary

• Installation, running test, process & servicing & maintenance of electrical tools with most effective quality & safety
• In charge of trouble free process of electrical tools of allocated zone.
• Spare management for smooth plant process.
• Routine position distribution & technical direction to subordinates.
• In charge of adherence of safety measures
• In charge of room maintenance services of his/her work zone.
• Implementation of all work orders well in time with quality and safety.
• Helps superiors in all endeavors.
• Arranges various documentation & recordkeeping which includes power documentation / servicing & maintenance checklist, routine position documentation etc.
• Imparts development to subordinates.
• Performs the maintenance and servicing of Circuit Breakers, Transformers, MCC, PCC, MV & LV Switch Boards, Battery Charger, Plant Lighting/Earthling System, HT/LT Motors, VFD, HT/LT Cables, and AC System etc.

Technical Ability:

Expertise and work expertise of Low, Medium and High Voltage system (i.e. IMCC/PCC/MV & LV switch boards etc.), HT/LT Motors, Transformer, Substation’s Indoor/outdoor tools, Generator, cables & cable termination, Plant lighting/earthing system, Electrical measuring & running test tools, Electrical and electronic Diagram and its analysis, Basics of Computer, Air conditioning/ DC leads, Battery charger, AC system etc.
