Position Concise

We are looking for a initiative-driven and meticulous Network operations center engineer who will be in charge of supervising, preserving, and making sure the stability of the network structure and solutions, and managing prompt outcomes to preserve high service accessibility for clients.

Duties

  • Track ISP backbone, entry networks, and client links using NMS resources.
  • Identify and address alarms, outages, or effectiveness degradations.
  • Log, prioritize, and report to higher support tier incidents in accordance with SLAs.
  • Execute first-level and second-level diagnosing issues for network faults.
  • Offer online assistance to site engineers during system setups, repairs, or escalations.
  • Collaborate with Tier-3/Technical groups for sophisticated concerns.
  • Assist standard procedure servicing & maintenance initiatives (upgrades, patches, backups).
  • Execute and track adjustment requests following standard standardized processes.
  • Record and modify network diagrams, system issue data records, and technical documentation.
  • Convey productively with clients on service status and system issue outcomes.
  • Guarantee promptness status reports to customers and account managers during outages.
  • Track KPIs (uptime, latency, throughput, packet loss).
  • Endorse enhancements to improve network reliability and customer experience.

Key Traits and Competiencies

  • Bsc in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or relevant field (or equivalent expertise).
  • 2+ years’ expertise in ISP, telecom, or enterprise relationship building environment.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and routing/switching.
  • Expertise with tracking software (e.g., PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, Cacti).
  • Understanding with fiber optics, wireless, and final-mile technical solutions.
  • Practical with Cisco, Juniper, Mikrotik, or Huawei tools.
  • Outstanding issue resolution, information exchange, and collaborative ability.
