We are looking for a proficient and inspired Network operations support Engineer to guarantee smooth running, supervising, and servicing & maintenance of the network structure, offering IT assistance to clients and internal teams, and making sure high accessibility, reliability, and effectiveness of internet solutions.

Duties

• Offer first and second-level assist for network-associated concerns.
• Diagnose issues and settle faults on routers, switches, firewalls, wireless devices, and other network tools.
• Supervise infrastructure effectiveness, capacity, and accessibility using NMS (Network Supervising Operational structures).
• Report to higher support tier unresolved concerns to higher-level engineers or vendors.
• Manage client service issues, diagnose issues network access challenges, and deliver promptly solution.
• Assist business and enterprise clients with devoted internet or leased line linkages.
• Set up and diagnose issues CPEs (Client Premises Tools) like routers, modems, and wireless APs.
• Execute settings and servicing & maintenance of network backbone devices (MikroTik, Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, etc.).
• Execute routing procedures (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.) and ensure most effective traffic flow.
• Assist IP handle management, NAT, VLAN, and VPN setups.
• Preserve thorough recordkeeping of network topology, settings, and incidents.
• Produce documentation on network effectiveness, outages, and SLA adherence.
• Help in getting ready system manuals for clients and internal use.
• Collaborate with the network engineering team to enhance and upgrade network structure.
• Engage in projects which includes capacity upgrades, new service rollouts, and system integrations.
• Analysis and endorse new technical solutions to enhance service standard.

Qualifications

• Bsc in Computer Science, Information Tech, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or relevant field.
• 3 – 4 years of expertise in network operations support, ideally in an ISP environment.
• Specialist qualifications (e.g., Cisco certified network associate, JNCIA, MikroTik MTCNA/ MTCRE) are a plus.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and routing procedures.
• Expertise with network devices (Cisco, MikroTik, Ubiquiti, Juniper, Huawei, etc.).
• Understanding with network tracking software (PRTG, Zabbix, Nagios, The Dude, etc.).
• Good issue resolution, logical, and diagnosing issues competencies.
• Robust client support onboarding and verbal abilities.
