Store officer at Aggregon Foods Nigeria Limited in Wuse, Abuja (FCT)

Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable and meticulous Store officer to oversee the stock of food items, ingredients, wrapping materials, and dining venue inventory. The Store officer will be in charge of receiving, storing, issuing, and preserving precise inventory records to guarantee a smooth flow of processes across the dining venue outlets.

Primary duties

• Accept, examine, and confirm incoming inventory and materials.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of all items according to safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Problem materials and ingredients to kitchen and dining venue employees based on requisitions.
• Preserve precise stock records using documented guide data records or stock management software.
• Carry out consistent inventory counts and resolve with physical stock.
• Track inventory levels and inform the Procurement Manager of low or critical items.
• Ensure storage zones are clean, structured, and conforming with workplace safety and wellness rules.
• Prevent spoilage, wastage, and theft by executing efficient inventory regulatory actions.
• Help in the project setup of stock documentation and audits.
• Ensure First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory rotation method is followed at all times.
• Work alongside the Procurement and Kitchen teams to guarantee stock chain effectiveness.

Credentials and Competencies

• At least SSCE / WAEC; additional development in storekeeping, stock regulate, or logistics is a plus.
• 1–3 years of expertise in a similar position, ideally in the food service or service sector.
• Expertise in food safety and storage standard procedures.
• Robust meticulousness and high level of precision.
• Basic math and document-keeping competencies.
• Capability to operate stock management operational structures and basic computer resources (e.g., Excel).
• Truthful, trustworthy, and reliable.
• Physical stamina for lifting and moving inventory as needed.
