Explanation

To strategy and supply compelling Physical & Health Education (PHE) lessons that advance physical fitness, sportsmanship, healthy lifestyles, and entire student well-being, while aligning with the school’s syllabus guidelines and, where relevant, the Cambridge syllabus structure.

Primary duties

• Train Physical & Health Education across allocated year groups.
• Formulate and execute lesson strategies that merge theory (health education) with practical physical initiatives.
• Arrange and oversee sports, games, and physical development sessions.
• Advance healthy living, personal hygiene, and wellness among students.
• Recognize and develop students’ skills in different sports and physical initiatives.
• Organize students for inter-house and inter-school contests.
• Preserve discipline, collaboration, and sportsmanship among learners.
• Ensure the safe use of sports tools, facilities, and assets.
• Evaluate and documentation on students’ effectiveness, fitness levels, and advancement.
• Assist extracurricular programs, clubs, and school-wide physical initiatives.
• Work alongside teammates to combine physical education into comprehensive learning.
• Serve as a position model in healthy living, discipline, and character development.

Credentials & Competencies

• At least Bsc in Physical & Health Education, Human Kinetics, Sports Science, or relevant field.
• Expertise training Physical & Health Education within a Cambridge or global institution circumstance is preferred.
• Training certification (PGDE, TRCN registration) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of physical fitness, health education, sports science, and wellness procedures.
• Capability to mentor a minimum of two key sports (e.g., football, basketball, athletics, swimming, volleyball, etc.).
• Clear articulation, interpersonal, and classroom leadership abilities.
• First assist/CPR accreditation is a plus.
