Role summary

We are looking for a meticulous and in charge Store officer to oversee and supervise the storage, stock, and allocation of goods within our FMCG warehouse. The preferred candidate will ensure precise inventory levels, productive storage procedures, and prompt dispatch of goods to assist smooth processes across the stock chain.

Duties

• Accept, examine, and properly store incoming goods and materials.
• Preserve precise stock records.
• Ensure First-In, First-Out (FIFO) or First-Expiry, First-Out (FEFO) inventory rotation to minimise waste.
• Organize and dispatch goods according to dispatch plans and sales orders.
• Track inventory levels and organize with the buying team for replenishment.
• Carry out consistent inventory audits and documentation discrepancies.
• Preserve cleanliness and company of the storage zone in adherence with workplace safety and wellness rules.
• Label and tag items precisely for easy recognition and retrieval.
• Organize with internal teams which includes logistics, procurement, and sales.
• Ensure proper managing and storage of spoiling and non-spoiling goods.

Qualifications

• OND, Higher national diploma or equivalent; a Academic qualification or accreditation in stock chain, or a relevant field is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise as a store officer or warehouse clerk, ideally in the FMCG sector.
• Understanding with warehouse management operational structures (WMS) and stock regulate standardized processes.
• Robust meticulousness and planning abilities.
• Basic computer competencies (MS Workspace, stock software).
• Capability to operate under pressure and deliver on time.

• Expertise in FMCG product managing and storage qualifications.
• Clear expression and team partnership competencies.
• Basic comprehension of safety and hygiene procedures.
