Position summary
This is a full-time position for a Sous Cook, located in-field in Nigeria. The Sous Cook will help the chief cook in routine kitchen processes, which includes getting ready ingredients, cooking dishes, and monitoring kitchen employees. Additional duties comprise of preserving kitchen cleanliness, making sure food safety guidelines are fulfilled, and coordinating stock and inventory. The Sous Cook will also support to menu development and special event organizing.
Credentials
- Competencies in getting ready ingredients, cooking, and monitoring kitchen employees
- Expertise in preserving kitchen cleanliness and making sure food safety guidelines
- Capability to oversee stock and inventory
- Creativeness in supporting to menu development and event organizing
- Clear articulation, collaboration, and management abilities
- Official culinary education and expertise in a similar position
- Capability to head prep chefs & assistants
- Team player with executive guidance lead.
