Explanation

To oversee and organize daily plant processes, making sure safe, productive, and uninterrupted generation in line with set targets and quality benchmarks.

Primary duties

• Oversee routine plant processes and track tools effectiveness.
• Assign duty and supervise operators, helpers, and change staff.
• Ensure smooth running of manufacturing workflows (crushing, screening, articulating, processing, etc.).
• Track process parameters and make modifications to improve efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to adherence with safety guidelines, license-to-work, and organisation rules.
• Documentation any business concerns, breakdowns, or process deviations to supervisors.
• Preserve precise change data records, generation documentation, and handover notes.
• Organize with servicing & maintenance teams to reduce non-operational time.

Credentials

• Certification / Higher national diploma / Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mining, or a associated technical site.
• At least 5 years’ expertise in plant or mining processes, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position.
• Solid understanding of plant tools (crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, etc.) and process flow.
• Expertise in change processes and generation supervising.
