Finance Executive at Phillips Outsourcing Limited in Lagos

Role summary

The Finance Executive is in charge of settlement of accounts and processing of payments to vendors and employees in addition to statutory remittances. She / he make sure that all payments are processed precisely and in accordance with stipulated timelines.

Duties

• Assist the organization in optimizing its financial financial record and operational structures by making sure highstandard of financial stewardship and making sure that all banking financial record are done ontime with very at least risk and in line with corporate rules.
• Processing of payments to vendors and employees in addition to remittance of statutory conclusions (EC, NHF & Pension etc)
• Project setup & posting of payment vouchers and transaction entries
• Preserve cordial connection with banks, statutory agencies and internal and externalclients
• Posting of client bills
• Periodic balance check of bank accounts
• Issuance of Receipts for collection from customers
• Resolve payments from customers with bills
• Settlement of Accounts Outstanding invoices & Payables
• Other obligations as allocated by manager / HOD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent Academic qualification in Accounting
• A minimum of 2 years work expertise in a similar position
• ICAN/ACCA Accreditation is a plus.
• Clear articulation and public speaking.
• High numeracy and analytical abilities.Very good
• Office productivity software competencies (Excel, Word etc)
• Capable to manage private information accordingly.
• Capable to operate under stress to deliver within strict timelines and manage various duty.
• Self-driven, self-sufficient and capability to show plan.
• Robust attention attention to description and capability to operate with little or no oversight
