About the position

We’re seeking a Shopify Engineer who loves building ability to scale, high-effectiveness ecommerce experiences that delight users. If you enjoy customizing Shopify themes, extending capability with apps and APIs, and partnering with product + design teams to produce beautiful online stores, this is your chance.

What you’ll be doing

• Conceptualizing and customizing Shopify themes to supply pixel-ideal ecommerce experiences.
• Building custom Shopify apps and integrations with third-party solutions and APIs.
• Operating with Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks to extend Shopify’s capabilities.
• Partnering with User interface/User experience UI/UX professionals, backend engineers, and PMs to ship capabilities quickly.
• Optimizing storefront effectiveness, SEO, and availability for large-scale user base.
• Making sure mobile-first, responsive design and multi-browser compatibility.
• Diagnosing, diagnosing issues, and assisting generation concerns.

What we’re seeking

• Demonstrated expertise as a Shopify Developer/Engineer (Shopify Plus expertise is a big plus).
• Solid understanding of Shopify’s Liquid templating language, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Expertise customizing Shopify themes and operating with the Shopify App ecosystem.
• Understanding with Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL) and webhook integrations.
• Comprehension of e-commerce effectiveness optimization, SEO, and responsive design.
• Cozy with Git and modern development processes.
