NestJS / Next.js Developer at EMGE Resources Limited in Abuja

Position Overview

We’re seeking a driven and skilled developer to join our engineering team in-field. You’ll be operating on exciting projects that merge the power of NestJS for backend APIs and Next.js for sleek, performant frontends. The preferred candidate is someone who can own capabilities comprehensive, compose clean and ability to scale code, and support to architectural decisions.

Duties

• Design, formulate, and preserve backend solutions using NestJS
• Build modern, steward-side rendered frontends with Next.js
• Collaborate with Mongodb, PostgreSQL, Redis, and other technical solutions in our stack
• Work alongside UI/UX professionals, PMs, and member engineers
• Compose clean, maintainable, and well-recorded code
• Engage in code assessments, running test, and deploying.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of expertise with NestJS and TypeScript
• 2+ years building frontend apps with Next.js (React)
• Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs, authentication, and DB modeling
• Expertise with Mongodb, PostgreSQL, Redis, and modern Development-operations resources
• Capability to operate jointly in an in-field team setting
• Incentive: Expertise with monorepos, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or GraphQL.
