Civil / structural engineer at Elvaridah Limited in Lagos

Position Overview

The Civil / structural engineer is in charge of organizing, designing, monitoring, and coordinating building and structure projects from idea to finalization. This position make sure that all civil works in-field are carried out according to authorized designs, industry guidelines, and compliance obligations.

Quality assurance:

Make sure that all materials used and work carried out meet quality benchmarks and requirements. Carry out consistent inspections to recognize faults, violation, or deviations from the strategy.

Legal adherence:

Verify that every on-site initiatives adhere with local building codes, workplace safety and wellness rules, and ecological guidelines. Coordinate with government inspectors and agencies as required.

Team Partnership:

Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, quantity surveyors, and other project participants. Help in addressing on-site clashes or concerns that may effect advancement.

Cost and Time Effectiveness:

Track project financial plan and timeline to avoid overruns and setbacks. Endorse cost-saving building methods or alternatives as required.

Credentials

• Bsc in Civil Engineering or associated fields
• At least 3 - 5 years demonstrated expertise in building building or property development projects.
• Must possess COREN accreditation.
• Deep knowledge of building methods, project coordination resources, and engineering guidelines.
• Skilled in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and other engineering software.
• Outstanding executive guidance, issue resolution, and verbal abilities.
