Internship, Risk mitigation strategy at Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) in Lagos

Position Overview

The incumbent will assist the Division in executing enterprise-wide risk evaluation, supervising, risk reduction and status updates frameworks.

Primary duties

• Organize update notes, take minutes, and organize documentation and dashboards across multiple board and riskrelated sessions.
• Track action points arising from Supervising Board and other risk-associated sessions and client engagement with participants for on-time settlement.
• Track past due debt service obligations and check in with project sample managers and other participants for prompt collection or remediation.
• Assist the evaluate of every quarter supervising documentation and help to recognize and settle advance notice signals of credit deterioration.
• Help to recognize and record lessons learned from financial funding activity to enhance future underwriting.
• Preserve a tracker of modifications to within and outside the organization rating of financial record and assist the process of rating assessments.
• Help in collecting, arranging, and processing data for special projects.

Qualifications Education:

Academic qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Risk mitigation strategy, Business Management, Engineering, or associated discipline. Master of business administration or MA/Master's degree or equivalent post graduate academic qualification is preferred

Expertise:

At least 3 years work expertise ideally in a financial institution or associated environment. Fluency in documented and spoken English is compulsory while spoken communication and documented fluency in other international languages is a plus
