Position Overview

The Support Health, safety, and environment Manager will assist the development, execution, and servicing & maintenance of the organization’s health, safety, and ecological (HSE) programs across its in-store, depot, and workspace processes. The position includes helping in monitoring Health, safety, and environment initiatives, carrying out risk evaluations, making sure adherence with rules, and pushing ongoing development through analytics-based data analysis.

Primary duties

  • Help in conceptualizing, executing, and preserving Health, safety, and environment rules, standardized processes, and guidelines.
  • Carry out and assist risk evaluations; endorse and execute regulatory actions.
  • Check adherence with local, national, and international Health, safety, and environment rules.
  • Assist in organizing and carrying out safety audits and getting ready audit documentation.
  • Engage in system issue inquiries; help in root cause evaluation and endorsing corrective actions.
  • Preserve system issue records and guarantee promptness status updates in line with organisation rules.
  • Assist in conceptualizing and supplying Health, safety, and environment capacity-building plans and safety consciousness programs.
  • Ensure staff are prepared in crisis-management standardized processes and proper use of PPE.
  • Track ecological adherence, which includes waste management and pollution regulate.
  • Support to recognizing and pushing ongoing development programs using data analysis.
  • Advance an environment that fosters safety by serving as a position model in Health, safety, and environment procedures.
  • Assist the development and synchronization of crisis-management strategies and drills.

Role expectations

  • Bsc in Ecological Science, Work-related Health & Safety, Engineering, or a associated discipline.
  • A MSC or specialist qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISPON Health, safety, and environment Level 3) considered advantageous.
  • 7 - 10 years of applicable Health, safety, and environment expertise inside the petroleum sector sector.
  • At least 3 years in a leadership or team supervisor position.
  • Solid understanding of Health, safety, and environment management operational structures, risk evaluations, system issue inquiries, and Health, safety, and environment data analysis.
  • Deep understanding of petroleum sector industry Health, safety, and environment compliance guidelines.
  • Capability to evaluate practices and endorse process enhancements.
