About Programme
- WACPHD invites applications to employ eight State Planners for a FP stock-side project in 8 states in Nigeria
- The project’s primary objective is to carry out a rapid and complete evaluation of family organizing stock-side restrictions in service provisioning at the group level and health operational structures.
- The evaluation is anticipated to offer attentive direction on plans to handle stock-side differences and rapidly scale up the offering of family organizing solutions for women with unmet needs.
- We are looking for a highly proficient and driven StateCoordinator to join our team of WACPHD.
- The StateCoordinator (SC) will be the key nodal person for the project and will be in charge of meeting all outputs and results under the project.
- The SC will be based in the respective geography and will make sure that all outputs and results are fulfilled by the collaborating organizations/sub-grantees.
- The SC will ensure the smooth implementation of project initiatives, which includes data collection, site processes, and participant relation, while conforming to timelines and preserving the highest quality benchmarks.
Certification
- MBBS/MBChB/MD with a MSC / PG Certification or equivalent in Group Medicine / Community health / Health Management / Hospital Management / Business Management,
- A minimum of 8 years of expertise in Community health, operating directly or indirectly with government, or health associates, or funders; applicants with expertise of a minimum of 3 years of operating with government health operational structures will be preferred
- Expertise in coordinating large-scale data collection endeavors, especially in family organizing or maternal and child health projects will be preferred.
- Robust understanding with the Nigerian health system and stock-side health interventions.
- Robust interpersonal and verbal abilities, with expertise in stakeholder engagement.
- Capability to oversee various key focuses under tight timelines.
Essential skills:
- Robust corporate and synchronization competencies with meticulousness.
- Outstanding issue resolution abilities and flexibility to evolving environments.
- High level of cultural sensitivity and capability to participate respectfully with networks and traditional key stakeholders.
- Competence in MS Workspace Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project coordination resources.
- Capability to operate independently in addition to jointly within a team.
- Robust verbal and professional writing competencies, with the capability to participate with multifaceted participants.
