Explanation

We are recruiting a Top level Accountantto oversee financial processes using QuickBooks Online for remote marine operations petroleum sector projects. The position includes project-based accounting, multi-currency financial record, adherence with Nigerian and international guidelines, and finance reporting.

Duties

• Oversee QuickBooks Online for GL, AP/AR, adjustments, and status updates.
• Execute project-based accounting and track expenses/revenues.
• Organize every month, every quarter, and yearly balance sheet and income statement.
• Manage billing, vendor payments, and multi-currency financial record.
• Ensure tax adherence and assist audits.
• Track financial plans, variances, and offer financial findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (ACA, ACCA, or CPA preferred).
• 5+ years in accounting, which includes 3+ years in remote marine operations petroleum sector/marine logistics.
• Robust competence in QuickBooks Online (setup, customization, improved status updates).
• Expertise in Nigerian tax codes and statutory adherence.
• Competence in MS Excel and expertise with audits.
• Expertise with project-based financials, vessel accounting, and multi-currency accounts is a plus.
