Explanation
- The Procurement specialist will be in charge of coordinating the procurement process inside the group businesses in marine industry etc, which includes the purchase of goods, solutions, and tools connected with seaport operations both locally and internationally.
- Coordinate with OEMs and manufacturers to procure tools as per organisation strategic guidance.
- Engage with User departments to comprehend their procurement needs and guarantee promptness inventory.
- Organize proforma bills, receipts, and other financial documents for vendor/customers use.
- Check in with Vendors/customers on payment renewals and outstanding balances.
- Preserve consistent information exchange with customers on commercial matters.
- Collaborate with management to guarantee smooth procurement processes.

Duties

- Organize with internal departments (Processes, Engineering, Health, safety, and environment, etc.) to guarantee procurement qualifications are transparently comprehend and met.
- Formulate and preserve procurement plans to enhance process effectiveness and cost savings.

Credentials
- Bsc or equivalent in Accountancy, Business Management, Stock Chain Management, Marine Engineering, or a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of expertise in procurement, ideally inside the marine or remote marine operations industry.
- Deep knowledge of the marine industry’s stock chain, tools, and service qualifications.
- Marine tools and spare parts experiences procurement and buys is a plus.
