Reciprocating Tools Expert Engineer at Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited in Port Harcourt, Rivers

Explanation

Supervise all initiatives concerning reciprocating machines (gas compressors, diesel/gas engines, generators etc) for JV Assets. The position requires both technical leaderships which includes manager work at on-site and managerial management, making sure alignment with organisation referential and industry guidelines.

Role expectations

• HND qualification (Higher national diploma) in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• Proven 10 years of industry experience doing key overhaul on reciprocating tools on industrial engine from Caterpillar, Wartsila, Perkins, Cummins etc
• Deep understanding of reciprocating machines (gas generators, diesel generators, gas compressors, etc)
• Deep knowledge of reciprocating machines design philosophy, servicing & maintenance, and qualifications
• Deep knowledge of oil and petrochemical industries guidelines concerning reciprocating machines
• High-level competence in Diesel engine diagnosing issues using OEM diagnostic software and instrument for calibration, fault finding and engine modification.
• Verified ability to rebuild industrial diesel or gas engine independently
• Verified ability to supply premium quality outcomes under pressure
• Robust corporate and team management capabilities
• Clear articulation competencies
• Fluent in spoken and documented English
• Valid BOSIET OPITO authorized
• Valid Medical certification that state fitness to operate in remote marine operations and onshore petroleum sector installation.
