Job Description

Formulate and evaluate pre-initiating and initiating standardized processes, test procedures, and checklists for all instrument loops and regulate operational structures.
Oversee and implement all pre-initiating initiatives, which includes loop checks, operation tests, and logic checks for Distributed Regulate Operational structures (DCS), Crisis Shutdown Operational structures (ESD), and Fire & Gas (F&G) operational structures.
Oversee the calibration and confirmation of all site instruments, which includes transmitters, regulate valves, and gauges.
Organize with vendors and expert technical teams for the running test and begin-up of critical and sophisticated instrument operational structures.
Organize and oversee all necessary pre-initiating and initiating recordkeeping, which includes test documentation, sign-off sheets, and the concluding handover dossier.
Diagnose issues and settle technical and business concerns that arise during the pre-initiating and initiating phases
Verify that every initiatives are carried out in rigid accordance with project requirements, P&IDs, and relevant safety rules.
Coordinate with the customer's processes and servicing & maintenance teams for the smooth and productive handover of authorized operational structures.
Offer technical direction and assist to Instrument Technicians and other team members during the project.

A applicable Academic qualification in Engineering is essential, with a a member of a professional body in Instrumentation being a robust advantage.
At least 10 years of expertise in Instrumentation Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years particularly in remote marine operations pre-initiating and initiating in the petroleum sector environment, with a established history of operating on the Bonga FPSO.
The applicant must hold valid remote marine operations qualifications which includes BOSIET, OSP, and a valid medical certification.
This role requires operating in a difficult remote marine operations industrial environment on channels or vessels.
