Qualifications

• A applicable Bachelor's degree. Academic qualification in Electrical Engineering is essential, with a a member of a professional body in Electrical Engineering being a plus.
• At least 10 years of expertise in Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 5years particularly in remote marine operations pre-initiating and initiating in the petroleum sector environment, with a established history of operating on the Bonga FPSO.
• The applicant must hold valid remote marine operations qualifications which includes BOSIET, OSP, and a valid medical certification.
• This role requires operating in a difficult remote marine operations industrial environment on channels or vessels.
• Formulate and evaluate pre-initiating and initiating standardized processes, test procedures, and checklists for all electrical operational structures.
• Oversee and implement all pre-initiating initiatives, which includes continuity checks, insulation resistance tests (meggering), and energization of electrical operational structures and tools.
• Oversee the installation and running test of all electrical tools, which includes transformers, switchgear, motor regulate centers (MCCs), and generators.
• Organize with vendors and expert technical teams for the running test and begin-up of critical and sophisticated electrical operational structures.
• Organize and oversee all necessary pre-initiating and initiating recordkeeping, which includes test documentation, sign-off sheets, and the concluding handover dossier.
• Diagnose issues and settle technical and business concerns that arise during the pre-initiating and initiating phases.
• Verify that every initiatives are carried out in rigid accordance with project requirements, single-line diagrams, and relevant safety rules.
• Coordinate with the customer's processes and servicing & maintenance teams for the smooth and productive handover of authorized operational structures.
• Offer technical direction and assist to Electrical Technicians and other team members during the project.
• Solid understanding of electrical operational structures, which includes their installation, running test, and initiating.
• Competence in operating with power allocation, motor regulate operational structures, and crisis power operational structures.
• Outstanding issue resolution and diagnosing issues abilities.
• Clear expression and management abilities to oversee and organize a team and coordinate with various participants.
• Competence in interpreting technical drawings, single-line diagrams, and other engineering documents.
• Outstanding planning abilities for coordinating thorough recordkeeping and standardized processes.
