Machines Operators at Fave Consulting in Kano

Position Overview

We are looking for skilled Machine Operators to join our generation team. The preferred applicants will be in charge of operating slitting machines according to position requirements, making sure quality and effectiveness in line with organisation guidelines.

Primary duties

• Evaluate position orders and organize content as appropriate.
• Take printed rolls from the printing machine as planned.
• Load rolls and set sizes, edge sensors, and lock roles.
• Modify winder tension brakes and check bale roles.
• Ensure product length and roll diameter meet qualifications.
• Operate the machine as per position requirements.
• Examine slitting size and preserve proper tension during process.
• Run generation only after receiving first-off authorization from Quality assurance.
• Recognize and organize defective rolls (e.g., uneven winding, off-cuts, bad odor).
• Weigh, wrap, and organize finished goods on pallets.
• Move finished pallets to palletizing zone.
• Clean machine and work zone after position finalization.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise operating slitting machines in a adaptable wrapping or blown film environment.
• Basic mechanical competencies and meticulousness.
• Capability to follow work orders and quality benchmarks.
• Robust collaboration and verbal abilities.
