Role summary
We are seeking a diligent and driven Chef / Kitchen Support to join our hospitality team. The successful applicant will help in food project setup, preserve kitchen hygiene, and assist chefs to guarantee smooth kitchen processes and outstanding monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning service.
Duties
- Help in getting ready and cooking meals (local and continental dishes)
- Wash, peel, and cut ingredients as necessary
- Preserve cleanliness of the kitchen, utensils, and cooking tools
- Ensure proper storage of food items and ingredients
- Help in serving meals where necessary
- Follow all hygiene, safety, and food managing guidelines
- Assist chefs and kitchen supervisors in day-to-day activities
Qualifications
- At least SSCE, OND, Higher national diploma/Bachelor's degree in any site (Culinary service/Hospitality certification is a plus)
- Previous expertise as a Chef, Kitchen Support, or in a similar position is desirable
- Capability to adhere to guidance and work in a collaborative environment
- Robust sense of cleanliness, hygiene, and company
- Growth mindset and work in a dynamic environment
- Adaptive schedule to operate changes, weekends, and holidays.
