Project’s Overview
- GRA is the executing work collaboratively for a project sample of survivor-centered projects across 18 local government zones in northeast Nigeria.
- These projects are strategically financed by a multifaceted group of international associates: the Mukwege Foundation, the Worldwide Survivor Financial support (GSF), the French Embassy, and We Are Not Weapons of War (WWOW).
- Through these strategic alliances, we are operating to strengthen the network of Dispute-Associated Sexual Violence (CRSV) survivors by offering combined assist.
- This comprises presenting tailored livelihood empowerment and crucial trauma-informed psycho community-related solutions to coordinate healing and economic stability.
- We are also building the capacity of survivor-guided networks, empowering them to become powerful proponents for their own rights.
- A key part of our work includes utilizing creative tech by joining direct survivor assist with strategic skills development and state-of-the-art system, we are assisting to build a maintainable foundation for adaptability and long-term empowerment in the region.
Position Overview
As a Top level Project officer, you will play a vital function in progressing GRA's purpose by coordinating and executing our core programs. You will be in charge of the strategic monitoring of project initiatives, making sure they are not only efficiently run but also directly support to the empowerment of women and girls, especially survivors of gender-based violence. This role requires a initiative-driven and strategic thinker who can ensure programs productively handle group needs while aligning with donor qualifications and our strategic objectives.
Primary duties
- Oversee the allocated programme project sample with a concentration on strategic organizing, efficient execution, and effect-oriented M&E.
- Formulate and implement strategic programme work strategies, financial plans, and timelines in partnership with primary stakeholders to attain project targets.
- Supervise the execution of survivor-attentive initiatives, making sure full compliance to project proposals and donor qualifications.
- Organize and offer strategic direction to programme employees and voluntary assistants.
- Track and assess programme advancement against established indicators and targets to measure effect and inform future plans.
- Recognize and handle programmatic hurdles proactively, proposing creative and strategic initiatives.
- Organize premium quality, analytics-based programme documentation for within and outside the organization participants.
- Build and sustain robust, cooperative connections with programme recipients and group associates.
- Carry out targeted development sessions and capacity-building workshops for programme participants to improve their competencies and empowerment.
- Oversee programme financial plans and ensure productive and strategic distribution of assets.
- Stay updated on industry standards in humanitarian and development programming inside the site.
- Advocate the rights of programme participants and support for a survivor-centred approach.
At least Credentials
- A Bsc in a applicable field which includes gender studies, international development, programme management, or a associated community-related science. Amaster's degreeis a significant advantage.
- At least five years of progressive expertise in programme and project coordination, with a established history of designing, executing, and monitoring humanitarian or development programs.
- Robust command ofprogram M&E (Monitoring and evaluation)principles, which includes data collection, effect measurement, and status updates.
- Exceptional verbal and professional writing competencies in English, with the capability to compose for multifaceted target groups.
- Proven expertise in top and operating productively with diverse teams in difficult, dynamic environments.
Most Preferred Competencies:
- Comprehensive expertise coordinating and executing site-based programs in theBAY states(Borno, Adamawa, Yobe).
- Verified ability to compose high-qualitytechnical and donor documentation.
- Highly skilled in usingMS Workspace(Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

- Understanding with programme and Monitoring and evaluation data governance operational structures.
