Job Description

In charge of the efficient management of the procurement process by making sure compliance to country and NRC rules
Organize procurement documents in line with NRC procurement standardized processes
Engage in procurement organizing and check in with programme section to guarantee requisitions are received without delay to guarantee programme resumption

Make sure that all procurements are done in accordance to NRC logistics rules, standardized processes and donor standard procedures
Carry out market surveys and evaluations and preserve a vendor DB system
Engage in the recognition of appropriate and dependable suppliers and service vendors and make sure that NRC interest is protected in relations to pricing, quality and on-time completion.
Organize Request for Quotations (RFQs), Invitation to Tender Offers (ITBs) and other procurement associated documents
Compile reports for offers board sessions and ensure offer board minutes are properly documented and is signed by offer panelists
Organize Local Buy Orders and provisional agreement as necessary and make sure that they are authorized by the financial plan holders
Make sure that the procurement tracker is current periodically and provided on time to all operational units
Send bills from suppliers and the applicable procurement documents to finance as per procurement checklist
Educate and oversee procurement support
Check in with inventory and arrange for dispatch of materials

Expertise from operating as a Logistics coordinator in a humanitarian/recovery circumstance
Previous expertise from operating in sophisticated and volatile situations
Recorded outcomes connected with the role’s duties
Effective communication in English
