Job Description

Help pharmacists in dispensing prescription and non-prescription medications.
Precisely measure, bundle, and label medications with guidance.
Offer patients with basic drug information, usage directions, and counseling (referring sophisticated cases to the pharmacy professional).
Preserve prescription records, invoicing, and patient files in line with rules.
Assist inventory management which includes ordering, receiving, storage, and supervising of medicines.
Check for and remove expired, impaired, or recalled medications.
Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, structured, and conforming with safety guidelines.
Help in compounding simple formulations (e.g., ointments, syrups) as directed by the pharmacy professional.
Offer front-line client support and manage questions courteously.
Uphold secrecy, professional conduct, and all pharmacy legal provisions/rules.

A Certification or Certification in Pharmaceutical technician studies from a identified institution.
Ongoing registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) or applicable compliance-related body.
Robust meticulousness and precision in managing medications.
Effective communication and people skills.
Expertise in pharmaceutical calculations, dosage forms, and drug managing.
Computer literacy (expertise with pharmacy software is a plus).
Capability to operate productively in a team and under pressure.
