Role summary 

Offer obstetrical care to pregnant women and their babies, doing home check in before, during and after dispatch, according to necessary standard and obstetrical/reproductive health procedures, universal hygienic and newborn caring guidelines and with guidance of a expert to avoid post-dispatch complications

Core tasks

• Coordinating information exchange between group members and the facility
• Building a trusting connection with the group and the facility
• Assisting people comprehend their health or community-related terms
• Offering support for those who need it
• Making home visits to elevated-risk patients, pregnant or nursing mothers, and the elderly
• Holding groups and individual sessions with people in the group
• Supplying health care information in a way that is clear
• Offering informal counselling
• Assessing qualification for health care strategies
• Collecting data to guide future programs
• Track an individual’s advancement toward meeting health targets.

Credentials

• Academic: Higher national diploma and ND in Public health.
• Specialist Permit: Must possess a valid and current practicing permit(preferred)
• Work Expertise: At least 1 to 2 years of operating expertise.
• Computer competencies: Applicant must possess good expertise in computer
• Registration: The preferred candidate must be a member of the applicable specialist body.
