FieldCore, part of GE Vernova is seeking an Environmental health and safety Expert to join our Ecological Workplace safety and wellness team based in Nigeria. 

About the Position  

As the On-site Environmental health and safety Expert you will oversee site staff to guarantee adherence with EHS (Environmental health and safety) rules, programs, standardized processes, and legislative guidelines.   You will convey and support to the development of on-location programs, carry out in-field Environmental health and safety audits and inspections, and offer strategic guidance for optimizing Environmental health and safety effectiveness and producing a NO HARM culture.   Furthermore, you will verify that every staff and employees are informed of safe operating standardized processes and procedures so that they can fulfil their duties and oversee necessary adherence initiatives, which includes the execution of in-country legislation and FieldCore EHS qualifications and guidelines.       

You will also possess: 

• Finished OSHA 30 Development  
• NEBOSH International General Certification is preferred to possess
• Ideally expertise and expertise in the risks participated in the servicing & maintenance of tools in the power production industry.  
• Competence in English.  

Competencies for Success:

As a On-site EHS Expert , you will assist Nigerian safety compliance obligations in addition to being knowledgeable about OHSA rules.
