Billing and cash clerk at Mattoris Supermart in Ikoyi, Lagos

About the Position

Mattoris Supermarkets is looking for a meticulous and client-friendly Billing and cash clerk to join our Ikoyi branch. The preferred candidate must possess prior expertise operating in a supermarket and be capable to supply productive, courteous, and precise cashiering solutions.

Primary duties

• Process client buys quickly and precisely.
• Manage cash, POS, and other payment financial record securely.
• Offer outstanding client support at the departure processing point.
• Balance cash register at the end of each change.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the billing and cash clerk station.
• Help with wrapping and bagging items for clients.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year billing and cash clerk expertise in a supermarket/in-store environment (compulsory).
• Robust quantitative competencies and meticulousness.
• Effective communication and people skills.
• Must be dependable, truthful, and client-service oriented.
• Capability to operate on a one-day-in, one-day-out timetable.
• Ideally female applicants.
