Air conditioning Technician at Ambiance Cafeteria in Ikeja, Lagos

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly proficient and skilled Air conditioning Technician with 3 to 5 years of practical experience in installing, servicing, and repairing Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning operational structures. The preferred candidate will have deep domain expertise, a dedicated attitude, and the capability to independently oversee sophisticated Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning duty in residential, business-related, or industrial settings.

Primary duties

• Install, service, and fix various Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning operational structures, which includes split units, bundle units, VRF/VRV operational structures, and chillers.
• Carry out preventive and corrective servicing & maintenance as per plans and service guidelines.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform diagnostics with minimal oversight.
• Track refrigerant levels and recharge operational structures as required.
• Ensure proper calibration and functioning of thermostats, sensors, and regulate operational structures.
• Execute ductwork, piping, insulation, and system layout system setups.
• Preserve precise service records and finalize position documentation for each task.
• Follow safety procedures and ecological rules, which includes proper refrigerant managing.
• Offer IT assistance and direction to entry-level technicians if necessary.
• Organize with customers and other departments for efficient position finalization.

Credentials

• Technical Certification/ITI Accreditation in R & a or equivalent.
• At least 3 to 5 years of applicable field expertise.
• Sound expertise in Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, electrical and mechanical parts.
• Competence in using Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning diagnostic technical resources.
• Capability to read and analyze technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and documented guides.
• Understanding with industry safety guidelines and local adherence codes.
• Effective communication and people skills.
• Physically suit and capable to operate in all kinds of environments (rooftops, confined spaces, etc).
