Main Operation

The Materials Management Engineer (MME) aids or directs the execution of project materials buying and management. This may comprise of preserving duty and/or monitoring for organizing materials management plans, buying, speeding up, assessment, logistics, customs, in addition to monitoring site materials management (transport, receipt, storage, servicing & maintenance, distribution, issuing, and scrap/surplus disposal) when allocated to a fabrication yard or building on-site.

Duty and Duties

• Alongside all of the Level 1 and 2 duty and duties, Level 3:
• Proponents capital effectiveness in execution and implementation of initiatives submitting application established industry standards as suitable
• Monitoring of initiatives transition from engineering workspace to building site
• Ensures implementation of Site Materials Management in accordance with the Project Strategies (Materials Management Strategize and Logistics Strategy)
• Manages movement of materials from dispatch to marshaling yard / On-site Storage / On-site Laydown
• Ensures suitable receipt, storage, preservation, stock regulate, distribution, preservation, issuance, and surplus/scrap disposal methods
• Manages synchronization of supplier Technical Service Delegates during installation and initiating
• Arranges and manages heavy modules transportation organizing and implementation, advising with Building Logistics staff as necessary
• Helps in development of close out strategies and status updates

Competencies and Credentials

• Expertise in Materials Management preferred
• BS in Engineering, Building Management, Business or Stock Chain Management preferred
• Broad comprehension of project implementation and materials management principles, theories, and notions
• Ready to business commute or relocate to project sites (domestic / overseas)
• Owner/Handler expertise in project coordination positions preferred.
